Commission on Presidential Debates
Transcripts of presidential debates. Also includes historical material beginning with the 1858 Illinois Senate debate between Lincoln and Douglas. This nonprofit, nonpartisan corporation, sponsored all the presidential debates in 1988, 1992 and 1996. Transcripts are available in several foreign languages in addition to English.

Center for Responsive Politics is a non-partisan, non-profit research group based in Washington, D.C. that tracks money in politics, and its effect on elections and public policy. The Center conducts computer-based research on campaign finance issues for the news media, academics, activists, and the public at large. The CenterĖs work is aimed at creating a more educated voter, an involved citizenry, and a more responsive government.

Project Vote Smart provides campaign finance and other information about 13,000 candidates for public office from President of the United States down to state legislature.
