TinyMCE hints
Seems like this is a good place to share hints and techniques for using the TinyMCE tool. Please feel free to add things you find.
TinyMCE is the WYSIWYG html editor I'm using to create this post. It's set up with buttons for common tools: bold, italics, underline, justification, numbered or unnumbered lists, indentation, anchors.
One interesting tool is the little clipboard with the "W" on it. That Word paste tool will clean out a lot of the extra tags left in text cut from a Word document. I've also used it to clean up some extra <div> tags that were in data moved from the old web site.
If you don't clean extra cruft out of your text you can end up messing up presentation of some drupal elements.

Adding pictures.
I put up a blog entry about adding pictures to your postings and worked my way through it. Short version is that the "tree" icon in TinyMCE should now allow you to find, upload, scale if necessary, and place your images when you edit.
