Journalism and Electronic Media Student Among America's Top 20 Student Sportscasters

Roger Hoover, a junior in Journalism and Electronic Media who has worked as a sports announcer for many UT athletic events, was named to the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America All-America Program's Top 20 list, coming in at number eight.
This ranking is for the Jim Nantz Award, which honors the top student sports broadcasters in America.
Hoover is the only broadcaster to be named to the STAA's list from the Southeaster Conference.
