SPJ to Hold Environmental Journalism Conference

The East TN Society of Professional Journalists is holding an environmental journalism conference—Writing Green—March 27, 2009, in Knoxville, Tenn. at Calhoun's On the River, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The conference features experts from across Appalachia who will discuss issues pertaining to the environmental beat, including media coverage of the TVA coal ash spill in Roane Co., Tenn.
