Gary Thatcher, associate director of the International Broadcasting Bureau overseeing Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio Sawa, Al Hurrah, Radio and TV Marti, and other external broadcasting units of the U.S. government, will discuss training and research opportunities sponsored by IBB. He will also address grant funding opportunities available through the Broadcasting Board of Governors.
