Spring 2004 Messages (Adv. Majors)
ADVERTISING MESSAGE 1 - Spring 2004
There has been some confusion regarding the supplemental form required by the school for scholarship applications. If you are applying for a scholarship, you MUST fill out the supplemental scholarship form.
Some of the older supplemental forms has a different web site address, and indicated the forms were not needed. THIS IS NOT CORRECT. YOU MUST FILL OUT THE SUPPLEMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP FORM IN ORDER TO HAVE A COMPLETED APPLICATION. The school has these forms, and they are also located on our web site at http://web.utk.edu/~adv/AdvSupplemental.html.
Please bring the supplemental form to our school and take the scholarship form to the Bursar's Office for processing.

SPECIAL MESSAGE FOR SENIORS GRADUATING IN FALL
If you have a class conflict between Advertising Campaigns class and the Buyer Behavior class (Marketing 310) you may substitute any upper division class in the College of Business for your buyer behavior class. You will need to file a petition with your faculty advisor. Among your options are upper division courses in Economics (5 of 6 sections of Econ 311 have openings as of 5/12/04), Statistics and Business Administration. If you are enrolled in Adv 450 for Fall and have not taken the buyer class, consider taking it this fall rather than waiting until your last semester. You never know when a conflict may arise.
