MESSAGE FOR ADVERTISING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS - FALL 2006

THANKS TO ALL THE MAJORS who attended the advising sessions last week. If you happened to miss your group's session, then you will need to make an appointment with your assigned faculty advisor to be cleared for registration for spring semester.

GRADUATING ADVERTISING SENIORS ENROLLING IN CAMPAIGNS and who need Management 300 to complete the business minor may enroll in the equivalent course through correspondence at UT Chattanooga. First, you will need to request through your faculty advisor that 3 hours of the 30-hour UT residency requirement be waived. Second, take that signed substitution form to Betty Bradley in the College Advising Center and she will verify your situation for the College of Business Advising Center. For the course to transfer to the Knoxville campus, you must earn a grade of "C" or better.

Advertising students who are not pursuing a business minor may propose another on-campus business class as a substitute. This policy applies only to students who have applied to graduate in Spring 2007 and who have a conflict with Adv 470 and Mngt 300.
