The College of Communication and Information offers a single Master of Science in Communication and Information with multiple concentrations available to meet the needs of specific disciplines represented by the college. The office of the associate dean manages application to the program and management of progress through the program. However, students are advised and concentrations are primarily located in one of the schools in the college. At this time, there are five primary concentrations and these are managed through three of the schools. While it is possible for master’s student to pursue a personalized program plan that differs from one of these concentrations, students are not encouraged to pursue such a course. Each program has enough flexibility that it should enable a student to take the required courses in a concentration and still be able to select courses that meet individual needs. The following are the required program planning forms for each of the concentrations.
