College News Three SIS Professors Garner $1.6 Million in Grants to Improve Libraries Three professors in the CCI School of Information Sciences have been awarded $1.6 million in grants that will be used to recruit and educate the next generation of librarians and faculty members, to improve library technology and to shore up the technological expertise of regional library leaders. + read more CCI Student Completes Internship on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' Jasmine Davis, 22, a senior in communication studies with a minor in journalism and electronic media, spent the 2009 spring semester as a production intern at "The Late Show with David Letterman" in New York City. + read more CCI Alumnus Alan Wilson Pledges $100,000 for Endowed Scholarship Program Alan Wilson and his wife, Wendy, have contributed $100,000 to fund an endowed scholarship program for undergraduates in UT's College of Communication and Information. + read more |
