On Friday May 18, 2012, an era ended for CCI. The roof top satellite dishes and antennae have been an iconic symbol on the college's roof for many years. Workers removed the obsolete equipment Friday forever changing the building’s appearance. Damaged by multiple storms in recent months, the equipment could have posed a safety risk if left in place. It also could have made the college look as if it were lagging in technology even though the equipment was no longer utilized.
