CCI Development and Donor Recognition

CCI DevelopmentRenovated Lobby

The University of Tennessee College of Communication and Information (CCI) is relatively young by UT standards.  Formed by combining existing programs, the College evolved in response to the rapidly changing fields of communication and information. As new forms of media, communication formats and information needs emerged, the College continued to grow and expand.

Today, the College has four schools and the CCI family includes a significant number of alumni from the majors previously housed in other Colleges.  Because the need to learn and grow does not stop with graduation, CCI recognizes that alumni of all current day CCI fields of study need to have the opportunity to associate with faculty, students and alumni who share their interests and areas of expertise.  The CCI Annual Report is available here.  It chronicles CCI's 2013 activities, achievements and goals for the future.

Many of CCI’s alumni give back to the College by sharing their knowledge and insights with our students through classroom lectures and special events.  In addition to giving of their time and knowledge, many CCI alumni choose to give back to CCI through monetary donations to reduce the financial barriers to education faced by many students and/or to providing the funding required to help CCI maintain the high quality of its programs and facilities.

CCI alumni and their families are invited to contact us for a visit and/or to discuss ways you can give back to your alma mater in a meaningful and lasting way.
