2016 CCI Diversity and Inclusion Week to Feature Talk by Scripps Networks Interactive Executive

Alaka WilliamsScripps Networks Interactive human resources executive Alaka Williams will deliver the keynote address for the College of Communication and Information’s seventh annual Diversity and Inclusion Week, September 26-29, at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Williams' talk begins at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, in McClung Museum Auditorium in Circle Park. The event is free and open to the public.

Kelly is New Director of School of Information Sciences

Diane KellyDiane Kelly, an internationally known information sciences scholar, is the new director of the University of Tennessee School of Information Sciences (SIS). She begins on August 8.

Kelly comes from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a professor in the School of Information and Library Science. Her research and teaching interests focus on interactive information search and retrieval, information search behavior, and research methods.
